The Battalion Cross Country Competition was held on the second of February 2008 in Dumbarton and five 1st Bearsden boys were involved. Both Lachlan Carter and Graeme Shand ran in the intermediate race while Chris Mollins, Keith Shand and Eoghan O'Shea competed in the junior event.

Lachlan and Graeme managed to finish joint first in the intermediate race and Eoghan claimed top spot in the junior event. Eoghan, Graeme and Lachlan will now go forward into the National Competition which is to be held in Falkirk on the 15th of March.
