Comments: | After getting back from Denmark this morning and having a little nap just wanted to say it was a trip of a lifetime and enjoyed by all that were there! Would like to take the time to thank the captain for organising such a huge event it was much appreciated by all the boys on the trip we are truely sorry we kept you up all night!!!! Also thanks to our Danish friends for being so hospitable and doing so much for us!! Denmark 2006 will be a camp boys will talk about for years to come! Comments: | I was a Boy in the 1st Bearsden from about 1944 to 1947. As I write, I have my full attendance Bible (1946-47) in front of me, presented by W. Guthrie Strang, then Captain. Unfortunately, I had to leave Bearsden in 1947 and, after National Service and obtaining a degree in civil engineering, I have lived and worked outside of the UK ever since. I have very fond memories of the 1st Bearsden, Boys and Officers - and, particularly working towards the badges, and being taught to play the the bugle and the ukulele.
